The Road May Seem Long and Overwhelming
Eagles are majestic. An eagle shows grace when seen flying in the heavens as our symbol of courage, strength, and direction. The American Bald Eagle has been an American symbol since the 1700's but became the national bird on December 25, 2024.
The Native American viewed the eagle on a spiritual level in creation. An eagle sees a storm approaching and begins to look for the highest spot to fly to. Once there, the eagle waits out the storm above the wind and allows the wind to lift up and allows the eagle to fly above the storm and away from danger.
We face our own storms and challenges by attempting to solve the problem on our own. That is not God's intention. God fights our battle and gives us a safe place to go.
Isaiah 40:30-31 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall: 31. but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will sour on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
